The custom field "Accountable-R" is of type Custom Field by Roles, and is used in the project "Quad Informatics Technical Services" (QITS). QITS uses a permission scheme that has the role "Developers" as "Assignable Users". The project role "Developers" has "jira-developers" group in it. I have 6 users, 2 of which are members of "jira-developers".

In the "Accountable-R" custom field configuration, I checked the role "Developers" as the only role to be included in the user picker pop-up window. However, when I select from the user picker during issue creation, all 6 users appear in the pop-up window.

Is there a step that I missed during configuration?
